MY TOWN

I live in Villamediana with my parents and my brother. Villamediana is situated in the Autonomous Community of La Rioja in Spain. It is a fantastic place!
There are old buildings in our town: the houses, the olive-oil factory and my school. There is a beautiful church, too.
There are also the usual things in the town: a park, shops, banks, doctors´surgeries, restaurants and there´s a disco! There isn´t a cinema, but we watch films on video. 
Villamediana is great in May, when we have our local ´fiesta´or festival. I love Villamediana because it is a beautiful town

In the United Kingdom it rains a lot and children sometimes play games inside.
There are different games such as "Snakes and ladders", "Ludo", dominoes and cards.
In "Snakes and Ladders" . Children use a dice and counters. If they land on a picture of a ladder on the board, they go up it to progress. If they land on a snake, they must go back down it. The first person to get to the end of the board is the winner.
